Basic Processing and Shipping Timeframes

Why this matters Setting clear expectations helps reduce “Where is my order?” inquiries, improves trust, and gives customers a simple way to self‑estimate delivery.

High-Level Phases

  1. Processing (Supplier → ZQ Warehouse)

  2. Fulfillment (Warehouse Handling → Carrier Handoff)

  3. International Shipping (In-Transit to Customer)

  4. Final Delivery (Local last‑mile)

Phase Details

  1. Processing Time (3–5 business days) What happens:

    • Order paid.

    • ZQ purchases the product from the supplier.

    • Supplier prepares and ships it domestically to the ZQ warehouse.

    • Inbound receiving + basic verification. Why 3–5 days:

    • Supplier dispatch times differ (inventory confirmation, pick/pack).

    • Domestic carrier variability (weekends, regional distance). Tips to communicate:

    • “Processing includes supplier’s domestic shipping; we’re not just waiting.”

    • “Multiple items can arrive on different days; we usually wait to consolidate unless split shipping is enabled.”

  2. Fulfillment Time (≤24 hours after warehouse arrival) What happens:

    • Quality check (visual inspection, basic functionality if applicable).

    • SKU match / barcode scan.

    • Pick & pack.

    • Label creation and carrier handoff.

    • Tracking number activated (may show ‘Label Created’ until first scan). Notes:

    • Arrivals late in the day may ship next business morning.

    • 98%+ of items ship within the target 24‑hour window.

  3. International Shipping (Transit Time after Dispatch) Typical ranges (business days in transit):

    • Australia (AU): 5–8

    • United Kingdom (UK): 5–8

    • United States (US): 6–10

    • Canada (CA): 6–9

    • Core EU (FR, DE, IT, ES, NL): 6–10

    • Other EU Countries: 8–15 Clarification:

    • UK appears both in “International Shipping: Australia/UK: 5–8” and in EU breakdown; treat UK as its own 5–8 day lane.

    • EU summary line “8–15 days” refers to the full spread; highlight that major EU destinations average 6–10.

  4. Final Delivery

    • Local carrier performs last‑mile scan events (In Transit → Out for Delivery → Delivered).

    • Occasional extra 1–2 days if local depot congestion occurs.

Putting It Together (Total Delivery Estimate) Total Delivery Time = Processing (3–5) + Fulfillment (≤1) + International Shipping (region). Illustrative examples (from payment date):

  • Australia / UK: 3–5 + 1 + 5–8 ≈ 9–14 days

  • US: 3–5 + 1 + 6–10 ≈ 10–16 days

  • Canada: 3–5 + 1 + 6–9 ≈ 10–15 days

  • France / Germany / Italy / Spain / Netherlands: 3–5 + 1 + 6–10 ≈ 10–16 days

  • Other EU (e.g., Portugal, Sweden, Greece, Finland, Eastern Europe): 3–5 + 1 + 8–15 ≈ 12–21 days

Processing Dropshipping time

Why This Matters Merchants often expect “processing” to mean items are already on a shelf. In our model, products are purchased only after you pay. Clear explanations reduce pre‑shipment inquiries and chargeback risk.

Core Principle ZQ is a fulfillment facilitator—not the original seller. We do not pre‑hold inventory for 1688 or other dropship SKUs. Each paid order triggers a fresh supplier purchase (also called Just‑In‑Time procurement). This procurement plus domestic transit is what creates the initial 3–5 day window.

Order Processing

  • Automated Workflow: Complete handling from product procurement to international logistics by ZQ

  • Flexible Shipping Options: Choose between direct shipping to customers or initial delivery to ZQ's China warehouse for later processing

  • Quality Inspection: Basic appearance checks to ensure product quality

ZQ’s order processing delivers a seamless, automated workflow that manages everything from product procurement through international logistics, giving you end‑to‑end visibility without the operational burden. Depending on your fulfillment strategy, you can opt for direct shipping to your customers for speed, or route inventory first to ZQ’s secure China warehouse for consolidation, staging, or later processing to optimize cost and timing. Before outbound movement, each item undergoes a basic appearance quality inspection to screen for obvious defects, helping ensure that only products meeting baseline presentation standards continue on to your buyers. This integrated approach balances efficiency, flexibility, and reliability in a single streamlined pipeline.

    Order Processing & Shipping

    1. ZQ purchases the product from the supplier (3-5 days domestic shipping)

    2. Products undergo quality inspection and packaging upon arrival at ZQ warehouse

    3. Processing based on previously selected shipping method:

      • Direct shipping: ZQ arranges international logistics to the end customer

      • Warehouse storage: Awaits your international shipping order creation and freight payment

    4. Tracking numbers automatically sync to your ZQ account (and to your store if connected)

ZQ’s Order Processing & Shipping begins the moment you place an order: ZQ purchases the product from the supplier and receives it in roughly 3–5 days via domestic shipping. When the goods arrive at the ZQ warehouse, they undergo a basic quality inspection and are packaged for the next step. Fulfillment then follows the shipping method you previously selected—either direct shipping, where ZQ immediately arranges international logistics straight to your end customer for faster delivery, or warehouse storage, where inventory is securely held until you create an international shipping order and submit the freight payment. Throughout the process, tracking numbers are automatically synchronized to your ZQ account (and to your connected store, if integrated), giving you real-time visibility without manual entry.

High-Level Flow

  1. Merchant pays order

  2. ZQ sourcing & supplier confirmation

  3. Supplier processing / pick & pack

  4. Supplier dispatch (domestic carrier)

  5. Domestic transit to ZQ warehouse

  6. Warehouse receiving & check-in

  7. Quality check (QC) & consolidation

  8. Outbound fulfillment (international shipping starts)

❗️❗️Important Operational Note: ZQ is a fulfillment facilitator, not the seller of record, and carries no standing inventory for standard 1688/dropship SKUs. Each paid order triggers a fresh purchase with a supplier. This just‑in‑time procurement model means:

  1. No pre‑allocation: Inventory is not “reserved” until payment clears.

  2. Variable supplier dispatch: Most suppliers hand off parcels within 24–48 hours; some take longer during peak or holiday periods.

  3. Inbound transit window: Domestic shipping plus warehouse intake creates the 3–5 business day processing period you should quote to your customers.

  4. Modification window: Order edits are easiest before the supplier purchase is locked (often within the first few hours).

  5. Stock risk: If a supplier is unexpectedly out of stock, we attempt alternate sources; if none are viable, we notify you for substitution or refund. Accurate public delivery promises should therefore add this inbound phase to the international transit time.

Fulfillment Time

From the moment of warehouse receipt, our service level agreement targets dispatch in under 24 hours for pre‑stocked SKUs and under 48 hours for just‑sourced items. Building forward (pre) inventory is the principal lever for reaching the 24‑hour benchmark.
